I took Arizona is my last pick of the draft and they have been twice as productive as Dallas. Yet they never get ranked anywhere in the top ten.

NE D looked awesome last night....I picked them up (or I can pick up Houston or Carolina...and someone just let the Jets go). I hope they continue to do good.

Anyone else notice Cassel's uneven numbers....

3 TD's....but only 180 yards

That was because Morris was running all over Denver's D and they were getting excellent field positions with Denver's no-show offense.

I started Prater, Cutler, and Pittman down 20 thinking I had this in the bag. Man, was I wrong.

So inconsistent. I might try starting him again after their BYE week.

reggie wayne @ ten, plexico @ pit, roddy white @ phi, santana moss @ det, calvin johnson @ wash

Pick three.

I'm inclined to say Wayne, Plexico and Santana but I could see benching Wayne becuase of how good the titans are and how BAD Peyton was last Sunday, but then again he put up big numbers against the ravens. I'm seeing Plexy as a must start here but I'm curious what others think.. Yes, I'm aware that CJ had a big game last week though I said he's a situational WR3 or Flex play (not "don't start him because he'll suck") so thats why he's still in the mix.

Well, more than Peyton right now, and enough to get him a fair share of throws for completions especially since he's Eli's first look in the redzone. He's had a touchdown in the last two games, unfortunately not a whole lot of yards but I'll take the SIX anyday. I guess I really don't think I can go and bench Wayne beucase he's in the exact same situation. The third spot (roddy, CJ or santana) is the one I'm debating.

See ya, Harrison..

That's probably not gonna help the ol' NE D thing.

Anybody have any idea on how long Bush is going to be out? Many places say similar injuries in athletes have sidelined them for months.

Should I drop bush now or wait a couple days until the full scale of the injury becomes clearer?

No kidding. The only week I didn't play him was the week he was questionable to play, which of course happened to be his highest (or 2nd highest) scoring week all season. Now I have to decide whether to start him or Turner since Turner hasn't exactly been Mr. consistant and hasn't shown that he can run against a good defense.

LT was just traded in my league too. He traded LT & Marvin Harrison, for Fitzgerald & Edge James. He's in last place now, but I think that is going to change. Where are you in your league?

Roddy and Santana would be great choices. Its a toss up with Burress, Wayne and Calvin.

we have one team in our league who's playing fantasy football for the first time. never really watched football in their lives, but we needed an owner to round out the league so they gave it a shot.

Today at work the commish said he noticed that this team was starting two injured players and a player on bye week. he texted them saturday night to check their lineup. they made some moves and ended up winning this week. this didn't sit too well with the guy on the losing end. I didn't think the commish did anything wrong since he didn't go in and change their lineup himself.

did the team that lost have a valid complaint or is he just bitter?

Did the commish do this all the other weeks for all the other teams who had a bye or an injured player?

Did the commish benefit from the other player losing?

I am a little torn on this one.

we have a couple guys in our league who dont pay attention to their starters and occassionally start guys with BYE weeks. My take on this is that if they dont pay attention to their lineups, neither should anyone else.

In my other league, we actually make trades public with a public vote as to whether the trade lacks independence. In other words, to make sure that players aren't in cahoots with others and alliances arent formed

as far as I know no team has started anyone on a bye or injured. the only situation I can think of was when someone started Carson Palmer the first week he was ruled out with an injury, but that was a game time decision. no way anyone could see that happening a day ahead.

i don't see how the commish benefitted from the other player losing. the commish said that it would be unfair to the rest of the league to get handed a free win.

Alright guys, I'm in a total dilemma. I've negotiated a great deal, if it is in fact a great deal.

I'm somehow 4-3 despite being the highest scoring team in the league. I need to make sure I start getting wins. My only QB is Cutler (after dealing McNabb and Bush for AP last week). My bye week replacement for this week is Fitzpatrick (I know, shit, but there isn't a lot to choose from. I'm trying to land Brad Johnson too).

My roster aside from that is very solid. I have to start two rb and two wr along with one flex, which will be a rb most likely.

At RB I have Barber, Gore, Peterson and Slaton.

Here is the tricky part. I was going to deal Slaton for Romo . Romo is probably out till week 11 though. He MIGHT help me in the playoffs and late season. I think he's probably an upgrade over Cutler when healthy. If I make this trade though then I won't have my bye week fill in this week for peterson, next week for Gore or the week after for Barber. Which means instead of playing 3 RB's I'll play two RB's and 3 WR's.

My first two receivers will be Fitz and either Royal or Williams. My third one would have to be Holt, Ocho Cinco or Meachem, all three of which are very risky to say the least.

So my inclination is to stick with Slaton as he will help me better NOW. Of course if I make it to the playoffs Romo might be dynamite.

I guess the other option I have is to shop Slaton around for a good bye week replacement for this week, but not sure there is much I could get that would be worth it.

Got a trade offer on the table -
I give up Welker and Jones-Drew and I get Fitzgerald. I dont' mind giving up Welker but not sure about Jones-Drew, but having Fitzgerald would definitely bolster my WR area.

Any thoughts?

Here's my lineup -
Rivers, Philip QB SD
Slaton, Steve RB HOU
Westbrook, Brian RB PHI
Johnson, Calvin WR DET
Moss, Randy WR NE
White, Roddy WR ATL
Witten, Jason TE DAL
Akers, David K PHI
Chargers DST

Anderson, Derek QB CLE
Buckhalter, Correll RB PHI
Jones-Drew, Maurice RB JAC
Ward, Derrick RB NYG
Welker, Wes WR NE

Have to start two RBs. I'm sticking with Chris Johnson playing at home against Indy. Question is go with Turner @ Philly or LT @ London "NO"? Maybe it's time to pull out a quarter to choose.

Whats the story with Sammy Morris? He did well for me last week as a bye-week stand-in, but is he going to play this week? Need to replace Reggie Bush.
