Copied from another thread, figured I would put it here for additional comments. 14 teams, I drafted 9th. Start: QB, WR, WR, RB, RB, TE, K, DEF. Scoring: QB (4 pt TD, 25 yds/pt), WR/RB (6 pt TD, 10 yds/pt, no PPR), everything else pretty standard.

I'm really happy with it. Deep RB and WR depth, but my QBs are weak. I'm sort of liking Aaron Rodgers though, hopefully he'll have a good season. I figure I will be picking up FA defenses all year.

For a 14 team league, that's a great lineup, especially at RB. Barber & MJD with a sleeper like Selvin Young could be a great backfield.

As for the QB's it's cliche to say...but it's just coming down to injuries. Rodgers has looked very sharp in the preseason and looked good in that half of game he played in Dallas when Farve was out. But he's injury prone for as little as he plays.

Same with Schaub. Except it's more than just his health - it's how well does Andre come back and stay back? That's the link there. But you also have to worry about the leaky O-line letting defenders in there and sacking the crap out your QB. Schaub missed a number of games last year because of getting blindsided or out right destroyed by pass rushers.

Should I drop Kevin Jones (Chicago) and pick up Correll Buckhalter, since I already have Westbrook? My gut is saying yes and that's my #5 RB spot, so it probably doesn't even matter.

The thing you have to worry about are bye weeks. That's the mistake I made.

Imported: RB would be a major concern for me. Stewart is a committee back at best and it was probably a stretch drafting him at 50, though if Williams goes down you're golden. The back situation in Houston is a mess so it's hard to say if Green will be the starter and there's the injury concern. And Freddy Jackson might get a couple touches a game at the most.

My league drafts next week, will post later. For several years now, we've done individual defensive players instead of one or two team DEF positions. makes for tons of fun. Draft-wise, it puts the status of guys like Merriman as questionable as he's arguably any person's top pick on D.

Though, I've always been a fan of Adrian Wilson--more consistent than stars like Ed Reed.

Yeah, we start 2 DLs and 2 DBs. It's nice getting 40+ total points a week from decent defensive players.

I would almost never take a QB in the first round, but if I did it'd be Brady. If I were you I'd still go with Tomlinson or Peterson.

I took a few gambles on some of the bench guys, but I'm pretty happy where I ended up. RB depth is a concern, but I think my starting team is pretty strong.

Very nice draft. About your bench: Meachem? Hardy? Deshean Jackson? Michael Jenkins? Throwing out some names I've been focusing on this draft season. Josh Morgan also has a good chance to become a starter.

I'm not too happy with this one, it's a 12 team and I just drafted last night. I can pretty much name my team the Panthers because if they stink I'm not gonna be worth a damn. I need a big year out of Larry Johnson. I wanted to avoid him but he was still available and the RBCs were getting snagged up. Yea, and I took Jamarcus because him and RUN DMC will give me a reason to watch RAIDER NATION this season :/
