Thinking of trying to trade Fitzgerald straight up for Brandon Marshall. Is there an advantage either way on this trade?

Johnson has the harder match-up, but he has been more consistant. Turner has the ability to have a huge week but is just as likely to be worthless. Right now I've got Johnson going but not sure if I should put Turner in there.

That and Ten is more committed to the run. With Orton not playing, Chicago's defense not playing well and Grossman playing - I have to believe Ten is going to win this game. This probably is going to mean they are going to run a lot.

I would play Johnson.

Thanks for the insight! Although, since I'll play Johnson, white will probably get the bulk of the work

Right now I'm thinking Ray Rice, but I could be convinced of anyone else.

PS - Thinking of dropping Torain for Felix Jones since Torain might be gone for the season and Jones should be back after their BYE. My hesitation is that Torain looked very good against a reasonable Browns defense. Thoughts?

Torain is out for the season - torn ACL :-(
Picked on Felix Jones as his replacement

Still don't know who to start between Rice / Slaton / Charles. Thoughts?

This one is tough... I'd say start Rice, Houston isn't exactly a great Run D... BUT Slaton is a stud, and I'm of the opinion that he shouldn't ever sit because he can blow up on the run or the pass. It's between those 2. Depends on what your gut says about the Bmore D.

I really have to think Marshall is the best choice here... Denver is going to be in a shoot out every single week, and all their RBs are on IR. Cutler is going to throw the ball at least 40 times every week. The cardinals on the other hand just discovered their run game, AND a reasonably stingy defense. I just can't see Fitz getting as many opportunities as Marshall week in and week out.

I'd go with Mewelde and Forte... Willie "the cripple" Parker is out again, and we KNOW Pittsburg is going to be running the ball... ESPECIALLY with their #2 QB in the game.

Forte is just a stud... and the Bears know that their chances to win depend greatly on their ability to get Forte involved.

I'm kind of worried about Forte against the stout Titans defense...

I think I'm going to sit him, since I have LT, Thomas Jones, Hightower, and Mewelder Moore.

Also, what do you think of Colston versus Coles?

Burress or Derrick Mason? Burress has been dissapointing lately....more like a #2 or #3 receiver....

I made good calls on Phil Dawson, BenJarvis, and Roddy White. Made a terrible call on Jamaal Charles who gave me ZERO points. I still won my game handily though and those zero points probably spared my opponent of being blown out by 30 points heh.

B Roethlisberger @Was
A Rodgers @Ten or
D Anderson vsBal

and 3 of the following receivers?

L Coles @Buf
H Ward @Was
B Edwards vs Bal
D Avery vs Ari

(picks in bold for your convenience)

I like Aaron Rodgers against Ten, while the packers may lose this game, I don't see Rodgers having a bad game, particularly after the bye week and his shoulder having a rest. The number of hits that Roethlisberger has been taking scares me, so I don't trust him against a stout Was defense. The way that Derek Anderson has been playing I don't trust him against the Baltimore defense.

As for your recievers, I Like Avery vs. The Cardinals... I think that'll be a shootout game if they protect bulger, I like Hines ward (I have him on my team) they always manage to get the ball to Hines in the red zone and ends up with 3-4 catches a game. I like Braylon Edwards at Baltimore only because I think Laverneous Coles is questionable this week because he recently had a concussion, otherwise Coles is above Edwards.

Belated thanks.
I ended up dropping Anderson and picked up Gus Frerotte that week. Made all the difference and barely won that week. Last week, I started Edwards(1 ctch, 15 yds), Coles (1 ctch, 14 yds), and Steve Smith(1 ctch, 9 yds). I started Torrain too. Worst week of the season for me. Needless to say, I lost last week.

Now we have one 7-3 team and four 6-3 teams vying for 4 playoff spots, with the 3rd place and 5th place team within 6 points of each other. I'm currently in 4th with 3 more weeks to go and playing the 5th place team this week. So big matchup for me this week. I got some choices to make this week, not too many no brainers. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Roethlisberger vs SD or
Rodgers vs Chi

SD has the poorer pass D, but Big Ben has been struggling lately. Although, Parker may be back this week. Chicago is more of a run blocking D, which should give Rodgers some opportunities.

I have 2 RB slots, 2 WR slots and 1 RB/WR slot.

So far I Steve Smith starting against Det and Hines Ward starting against SD. That leaves 2 RB and 1 RB/WR slots open.

For the rest, I have
LT at Pit
Lendale White at Jac
Coles tonight at NE
Edwards at Buf
and questionable Portis vs Dal

I figure I have to start LT. I have White in the other RB slot, and will sub in Portis if he is healthy enough to go on Sunday. I'm also starting Coles tonight. If I don't start Coles tonight and Portis can't go on Sunday, then I might be force to go with Edwards on Monday night.

I also have Avery @SF, Michael Jenkins vs Den, and Koren Robinson vs Ari.

edit: I just bench Coles and now have
RB: LT
RB: White/Portis
RB/WR : White/Jenkins/Robinson/Avery
WR: Ward
WR: Smith

Unfortunately, Portis plays at 8pm Sunday night. I guess I can leave Portis or Edwards for the flex spots since those are the last 2 games, but I rather not start Edwards.

If I were you...

I'd start Rodgers @ Chi... chicago's Pass D has been sad of late... and Rodgers will want to bounce back from his poor performance last weekend.
I'd start Lendale White, Jacksonville is not the D it once was... even the Lions ran a little on them... and White is bound to score at least once.
I'd start LT out of necessity... Portis probably won't play... even if he does, whats he got? And you won't even have time to make a good decision.
I'd actually do Jenkins in that last flex spot... he's been playing well, and this game has the makings of a total shoot out... so everyone on both teams should get their points.

I actually don't have significant questions this week... my lineup is pretty set.. I'm going

QB: Jay Cutler vs ATL
RB: Steve Slaton vs IND
RB: DeAngelo Williams vs DET
FLEX: Thomas Jones vs NE
WR: Calvin Johnson vs CAR
WR: Marques Colston vs KC
TE: Owen Daniels vs IND
K: Matt Prater vs ATL
DEF: Carolina vs DET

BENCH:
Plax vs Bal
Lance Moore vs KC
C Johnson vs Tenn
Ravens vs Giants

I'm feeling dubious about T Jones at NE, but I don't see any of my bench as being a better option... I also picked up Cadillac off waivers on a flier.. we'll see if that pans out.

Make sense?

Doboji, that lineup looks fine. I'm rolling T. Jones tonight, why wouldn't you? NE defense is overrated and Jones is hot right now. Though L. Moore could put up some numbers vs KC.

Who should I flex this week... Steve Breaston, Willis McGahee, Peyton Hillis, Lance Moore, A. Gonzo, Warrick Dunn, or D. Rhoades.

I'd have to go with Breaston... he's been a monster lately, and Seattle is just sad.

All the "experts" are advising sit for T Jones... NE has been pretty efficient stopping the run over the past few weeks... and the Jets seem hellbent on putting the game on Brett's shoulders. I'm sticking to my guns on Jones... but all the naysaying has me nervous.

Most of the stuff I've read still has T. Jones in the top 10. I think that the Jets are going to try and pound it with Jones early and often and keep Brett from throwing INTs.

What do you think of Steve Smith (NYG)? I have him as a starting #3 WR/TE flex. I see NYG struggling a bit against the Ravens front and Eli having to dump it off to Kevin Boss and Steve Smith frequently and a lot of third downs.

I don't like Smith against the Ravens... hell I don't like ANYONE against the Ravens... I think the Giants will win, but it's going to happen on 1-2 big plays...

Yea it's not a good matchup.

I can either roll Smith or McGahee. Neither are too great. I'm not willing to take a chance with L. Moore or A. Gonzalez or the other two scrub RBs (W. Dunn and Peyton Hillis)

Well T Jones worked out nicely.... wooohoo.

Sampson... In your sit believe it or not I'd probably roll with Hillis.. I mean... there's no real great option for you in that spot... I'd pick the guy with the most upside, and who'd be the most fun to root for at that point.
