Bump

Nothing I know of for free. Yahoo! has a stat tracker that will provide real time points of your team and others in your league for matchup tracking. But it's $10 (or was at one time). It's like $.60 a week once you break it down over the course of a season.

My draft isn't until Tuesday. I'm seriously thinking about getting drafting software this year. Has anyone who has drafted done the same?

I had a freaking awesome draft in my money league the other night. 12 team league, 1 QB 2 RB 2 WR 1 TE 1 Flex 1 Kicker. Standard scoring, non-ppr 6 pts for all TD's.

I drafted:
McNabb
Gore
Barber
Fitzgerald
Chad Johnson (drafted before injury)
Torry Holt
Roy Williams
Jeremy Shockey
Bills D
Suisham

on the bench I've got

Jay Cutler
Laurence Maroney (currently being traded for Reggie Bush though)
Steve Slaton
Chris Perry
Maurice Morris
Todd Heap
Robert Meachem
Eddie Royal

Tell me my teams not awesome?

I would be concerned. His injury must really be bad.
How else do you explain this?

Meh. All the best drafting software in the world can't predict injuries or flat out bad seasons. Plus it's not like there are as many statisical categories to figure out with football as you have in something like baseball or football. They also won't dig up waiver wire studs that can carry your team to a victory halfway through the season.

True, but it should help in the middle and later rounds, which are the rounds that make or break winning it all. Everyone knows who to pick for the first few rounds, but it's the sleepers that can be had in the 6 and later rounds that can make your season.

After going to the playoffs for the last 3 years, and losing to the person who took it all each time, I need an edge.

2 players needed for a CBS Sportsline league. Not too serious, no money, but the draft is at 10am tomorrow so if you're interested please PM me for details

Not really, IMHO. Initial drafting takes a back seat to injuries and waiver wire pickups. It's really just pure luck who busts out and who doesn't. Or who gets hurt and who doesn't.

How do you guy feel about McFadden? Any chance he'll put up better numbers than AP or Reggie Bush's first year?

14 team league, picking 7/8, don't remember.
Randy Moss
Willis McGahee
Chad Johnson
DeAngelo Williams
Derek Anderson
jerricho Cotchery
Jerry Porter
Dallas Clark
Aaron Rodgers
Ahmad Bradshaw
Dareen Sproles
etc.

Not really happy with my picks, especially we drafted middle of preseason and now I'm seeing Chad's injury. Plus I'm pretty screwed if McGahee's knee dies.

Heck no, he hasn't even taken away the #1 spot from Fargas. I'd pick him up, because maybe that's just a ploy by Oakland. I wouldn't get him early though, maybe 4th or 5th round.

He may steal away some carries towards the end of the season and would be worth a reach in a keeper league. But not someone I'd reach much further than the 4th round on in a normal leauge.

Should I trade Peyton Manning / Ronnie Brown for Carson Palmer / Reggie Bush

Thing is that I think that Reggie is gonna do a lot better this year than last year

Who would you start this week? 2nd RB: Larry Johnson (terrible preseason/last year) or Darren McFadden (great preseason)? 3rd WR: Dwayne Bowe, Donald Driver, or DeSean Jackson?

While I hope my Vikes will shut him down, I would go with Driver.
