If LT plays, you should start him. You prolly drafted #1 or 2 so you gotta ride your horses, or trade 'em.

Yeah but fuck, he's very hit or miss and turners been fucking that shit up. I'd kill to trade LT for some WR's but nobody's tradin anything.

Yeah never play your guys based on draft order. Go via matchup.

I currently have Gore, Slaton and Hightower for RBs. My WRs consist of Randy Moss, Roddy White, Bobby Engram, Justin Gage, and Robert Meachem.

League format is 2 x RB and 3 X WR

LT has a sore toe and he's been complaining about it all year saying he can't cut or move the way he's used to. His performances back that up.

I would sit him until he proves me wrong.

Find a team that needs a RB and WR who has a top quality WR or QB up for trade. If you were to pick up a top receiver like Fitzgerald or Marshall or a top QB like Cutler or Brees, you would be unbeatable.

You don't need to make a trade. You don't need a RB or an injured WR especially if you are giving up good fantasy players. Your starting two are very good.

Just did a trade proposal in one of my leagues: Philip Rivers for Marshawn Lynch. I already have cutler on my team and have been going thru a downturn with my RB's.

You guys think he will accept? He has Matt Shaub as his only QB

RB
Buckhalter, Correll @ SF
Westbrook, Brian @ SF
Jones-Drew, Maurice @ DEN
Slaton, Steve @ MIA

I?m mixed here, my WR is section is weak and have been causing me games, the two game I?ve lost were close and both came down to my WRs. Is Welker and Bryant worth the start?

WR
Johnson, Calvin @ MIN
White, Roddy @ CHI
Welker, Wes @ SD
Bryant, Antonio @ CAR

bump for suggestions

So I'm in an interesting spot. I have 5 WRs - need to start 3.

TJ Houshmandzadeh
Brandon Marshall
Bernard Berrian
Kevin Curtis
Marques Colston

Marshall is a definite start. Houshmandzadeh would be, but Palmer is out this week and I don't trust the backup (though it's against the Jets). Berrian is up against the terrible Lions, but he's quasi-injured. Curtis might still be out. Colston is confirmed to be back, but I'm not sure how he'll produce or how much game time he'll wind up with.

Hmm...

This week - Colston is only playing in 3 and 4 wide receiver sets. He won't get a whole lot of time.

Yeah with Westbrook out and bye weeks my starting line-up is absolute crap, Gus Frerotte is my starting QB, Roy Williams is my disgruntled "best" WR, and Julius Jones is my number 1 RB, then it's all downhill from there. :frown:

Not a chance if he's smart.

Most leagues only play 1 QB. Philip Rivers is barely in the top 10 (especially with LT injured Chris Chambers out and Vincent Jackson possibly out too).

Compare that with RB where most leagues play two. Not only is Marshawn Lynch in the top 10 (especially with all the top guys not performing well), but he plays for a team whose starting QB is out indefinitely and may need to run for a stabilizing factor.

To get a mediocre RB (Steve Slaton), I needed to give up a very good fantasy QB (Warner) and a top notch WR (Randy Moss).

NO is hit or miss....one week Moore could get monster points, the next week he could only get 3. They have alot of talent....

that's true, but Colston is the best bet to get consistent production from the WR spot. He's been Brees' favorite target for the past two years. I don't think a 4 week injury will change that.

With that said, I'm not sure I'm starting him this weekend. I really want to, especially after waiting a month for him to get back, but he may be limited. I'm deciding between starting Colston or Hightower as my flex this week

I hope that changes once Colston is back for good (since I just traded for him and have high expectations of him), but you're right about it now.

Tomlinson (toe, probable) participated fully in practice Friday, the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
Spin: He should be good to go -- albeit probably not at 100 percent -- and it will be interesting to see if the Chargers borrow a page out of the Miami playbook and deploy the sort of direct snap ploy that Ronnie Brown torched New England with in Week 3. Tomlinson has demonstrated that he can throw the ball, which is one thing required to sell that sort of play.

Mother fuck.

LT or Pittman? I say pittman.

ESPN standard scoring system, except TD passes by QBs are 6 pts instead of the usual 4. 50+yd td bonus 2 pts, every 20 passing yards 1 pt, -2 per INT.

I want Favre, and I'm offering Ryan Grant + Matt Schaub to replace the other guy's qb. His RBs are Fred Taylor, Le'Ron McClain, and Justin Fargas.

Westbrook is out, who was to start alongside Ronnie Brown. Now I have to choose between Edge and Jamal Lewis. I'm leaning towards Edge, but a little worried about Hightower gobbling up all his TDs. What do you guys think?

Seem reasonable to start Thomas Jones over LT?

Also, I'm starting Colston, but that's mainly because I have to (unless Boldin is suddenly back in the action).
