I'm Korean (not upper class but I guess upper middle class) and my parents were the opposite. They didn't hammer me on education neither and said we will support you no matter what you choose to do in life.
your parents should've adopted me.
my korean parents had high expectations for my younger brother and i. we played a lot of sports, took a lot of music lessons (yes i'm deaf and parents forced it) and after school classes paid by parents. i even attended saturday classes and summer schools. it was awful.
education was parents' favorite. brother and i graduated high school with mid 3.0 gpa (3.3 for him and 3.4 for me.) parents went insane when we got B's, sigh.
so much thing to took over my childhood life but i love my parents because hell bent loose when we went to college. i come from middle class family (upper class if you don't count middle class...)
i don't like when parents spoil us. they bought us cars and they expect something better in return. :/
Yeah, some of my friends had parents where they would get in trouble if they got a B on their report cards.

Many Korean's are hot because plastic surgery and major makeup is very common there. Kids even get their faces done. The Japanese as a whole aren't usually up there in the worlds most beautiful women categories.
I have been around enough women to know once in american they are about 90% the same...outside being american they are still about 75% the same with just different ways to get to the same happy ending.

Asian guys think THIS type of asian girl is hot as opposed to white guys think THIS type of asian girl to be hot.
Then again, I have a thing for Jun, Jeon so I might be a little bias. I don't find Lucy Liu to be attractive at all. Actually, kinda scary looking IMO.
