It's definitely better than Soy milk and it has a full-bodied feeling to it, much like real milk. Only it doesn't bloat you like real milk.

I still prefer Vanilla Soy Milk, but Almond is good. I like Almonds, but don't care for the Almond flavour in milk much.

I can drink just about as much real milk as I like with no bloating. I tend to stick to 1%, though. I used to drink only skim milk, but one day realized that the fat really does taste good.

Soy milk -> man breasts.

The estrogen/soy issue requires a lot of soy. I'd be more worried about diabetes/fat etc if you were drinking that much milk. A glass a day is fine unless you also eat a bunch of processed crap that has soy filler.

i pretty much only drink silk original unsweetened when drinking milk. as mentioned above, it tastes really good with protein powder and that is all i use for shakes. i'll still drink some of my kids whole milk with cookies or if i just feel like a glass of normal milk.

fwiw, almond milk is pretty easy to make at home. The commercial stuff is just water, a handful of almonds, and a ground-up vitamin pill. The full-body feeling you're experiencing is from carrageenan. It's basically a bottled lie

Nope

As a drinker of both, even real 1% milk is quite a bit better. Almond milk will always be watery in comparison. It still has its uses though... I like it in smoothies and lattes

Almond milk has very little protein, Soy milk has about the same as cow milk

Yup, I'm lactose intolerant and regular milk is awesome. Sucks I have to buy the expensive lactaid milk. Almond milk after that and soy is just disgusting.

None of the nut based "milks" compare to the real thing, but I still like them overall. I'm fully aware of the gums they use to make them thick.

Cashew milk is good. Coconut is good too.

Yep, almond fresh unsweetened is all I use for cereal, smoothies, etc. Love that stuff, plus it lasts way longer than the bovine variety.

If bloating with regular milk is the only issue then just buy lactose-free milk. Or else buy the lactase pills.

I don't like almond milk at all although if it's mixed in small amounts in a smoothie I can tolerate it. I like soy milk but not those flavoured and heavily processed ones like Silk. I like the fresh stuff you can get in Chinatown or else the as a second choice the bottled refrigerated stuff.

Coconut milk isn't drinkable IMO. I just use it for cooking. eg. Coconut curry or coconut jasmine rice. Coconut water tastes great though.

There's no such thing as soy milk... it's soy juice. But they can't call it soy juice, because every time you say "soy juice" you actually start to gag.

And we KNOW there is no such thing as soy milk because there is no soy TITTY, now is there?
