Alpha 8045 + which Panaflo?

I'm purchasing a new Athlon XP, and I wanted a new HS/fan to go with it. I want to purchase the Alpha 8045 Whisper Kit from 2cooltek.com, which comes with a Panaflo 24CFM / 21dba 80mm fan. But scanning these forums, I see most people have attached a more powerful fan, like 30CFM or 40CFM. So is 24CFM good enough? How much temperature difference would there be from the different Panaflo fans? I'm pretty sure I won't do any overclocking, but if I do, I'd probably play it on the safe side. If I do need a bigger fan, then I'd have to get the fan from somewhere else since 2cooltek.com doesn't carry any other Panaflo 80mm fans.

as long as you dont plan on overclocking, the 24cfm should be good enough. I have a 50cfm attached to mine, but I also have my processor overclocked 300MHz. You might want to buy a slightly higher cfm fan if you expect to overclock sometime in the future. Of course, if you don't plan on OCing anytime soon, then I'd say go with the 24cfm fan right now, and if you do decide to OC later on, you can buy a stronger fan then.

Where do you guys get your Panaflo H1A from? any of the vendor sell them in combo with Alpha 8045?

The 53 CFM Mechatronics fan is more powerful than any panaflo.....its 39dB, doesnt seem noisy at all. I have two of them in my system

Try PcMods for the Panaflo fans here, although they do not have the heatsinks.

Coolerguys has the Mechatronics... I just bought one. Had the Panaflo H1A on my 8045.

The mechatronics fan keeps the 8045 nice and cool. I have it blowing too, since if it was sucking it would be fighting with two 104CFM panaflos, which i thought was kinda silly
