Alpha PAL8045 Lowest prices?

Can someone point me a a website that has this at a low price and also has the fans for I could buy it at once. I'm looking for a fan that's quiet, but I don't want to comparise the cooling. I'm not going to overclock and will the L1a 80mm Panaflo be good for an anthlonXP 1800+ with a kt266a. And what other fans can i get that are quiet too, but are better at cooling.

Thats the cheapest I have seen. Also it comes with a nice and quiet ADDA fan.

Yeah, that seems to have a pretty decent price for one. I got mine at CrazyPC.com for $46 + shipping, and I got the 80mm Delta fan with it

would you guys recommend one of the quieter fans?? I really don't want to get a super loud Delta fan. would this fan work with the PAL8045?

You could go with Panaflo L1A (low-speed) 80mm fan?

I'd just use the Delta with a rheostat though

Nobody seems to be coming down off of $39+fan, they're too new, and likely selling well at that price. The lowest speed Adda fan should give good results, at least it seems so from comparing the specs to the very quiet but unobtainable Papst fan used in a recent Anandtech review of the 8045. The ~32cfm Adda fan looks like it would cool even more effectively without being loud. Any fan noisier than that will definitely be noticeable, and probably won't give significantly better results. That sink is a monster, so loud fans aren't required, particularly considering that XP's are supposed to put out ~20% less heat than a Tbird....

The $5 80mm Sunon that newegg sells is pretty good too, supposed to be quiet. It really depends on your tolerance, some people don't mind Deltas.
