the 8045 is a socket A only heatsink that uses the 4x holes on some of the mobo. It can't be mount on the Athlon 64 socket.......unless they make an adapter for it.

Yup, the 8045 is socket A only. Alpha makes the 8150 which is compatible with the 754 and 940 sockets (not sure about 939).
