What's that
Some say the greatest anime evar.
I tend to agree to a point. It's an anime rock opera.

Oh wow. I tried to watch that and it was so . . . I don't even know what to call it. It made Power Puff girls feel like a documentary. Also, one I will never watch is fairytale.
Apparently it's a high school girls dream anime. I saw one of the characters and bailed. D:Oh wow. I tried to watch that and it was so . . . I don't even know what to call it. It made Power Puff girls feel like a documentary.

I'd like to see if you and I have similar tastes. Like you, I also loathe most anime. Which "good ones" did you try?:thumbsup:Anime is some real neckbeard shit. Buncha virgin love stories or some such, makes me uncomfortable. Might as well hand in your man card if you ask me.
I have tried to like the "good ones," but I always interpret them thus ^
What's the consensus on Clannad here? I love that sappy virgin love story shit.

I can personally recommend Black Lagoon. You guys might like Black Lagoon.
Or Bartender :awe:
I'll admit I dislike anime, but I've watched one punch man and thought it was pretty funny. Now my friends are telling me to watch Full metal alchemist.
So do I watch the first one or brotherhood? I've heard brotherhood looks much better and is less boring, but I don't want to miss any story.
Yeah, I've gathered that, but FMA seems a bit darker than most and at least misses some of the sappy stuff. I figured I might as well try a popular one so I don't have to go through the millions of anime to find one I like.second one
note that One Punch Man & FMA are not anything alike
not quite.
the first FMA anime started a bit after the manga. they eventually caught up to where the manga was (iow: didnt have an ending) so the production company made up their own story conclusion while the mangaka kept going.
FMA brotherhood came out after the mangaka finished the series, so it follows the canon.
There is nothing wrong with Fairy Tail.
Do you know any like One Punch Man? Specifically being more like a normal comedy show than an anime? (I hope you get the vibe I'm going for)
Pretty much everybody loves Brotherhood. It's on the dark side and evil is a constant companion, but it's not oppressive in its presentation. It is 64 episodes though so you're looking at maybe 30 hours of viewing.Yeah, I've gathered that, but FMA seems a bit darker than most and at least misses some of the sappy stuff. Watch "Cowboy Bebop"
What's the consensus on Clannad here? I love that sappy virgin love story shit.
Cowboy Beebop is old but it's the archetype of classic anime. Amazing story and characters and fantastic animation. Also check out the movies. It appears nobody seconded this.
I'll correct that now and give it a vote.
*snip*
The first series, Clannad, is fine, but when most people talk about it being "full of feels", they're talking about the second season titled Clannad: After Story.
Should the first episode of brotherhood start with no introduction and be about an ice alchemist? Because the one I've found is and I'm confused. It looks correct but I have no context.
In this case it's important to get the back story.
Harder to have feels for people you've never met or don't know anything about.
For more sappy feels type stuff there's also Angel Beats (same writers as Clannad?)
