alright i know all you guys heard questions like this millions of times but....

This is my first build and i AM REALLY REALLY having a hard time choosing a motherboard i have read many guides inculding the ones on these forums but i still cant choose. Let me break it down, I need a motherboard thats stable, fast, good for games, easy to setup, and i also wont be overclocking because this is my first build and i wont be messing with that stuff. I have been looking at this motherboard

but am still confused. So what do you guys recomend i dont need SLi since im going ATI also.
so what do you all think of that mobo and also i am sorry for bothering you all i didnt wanna ask but i really having a hard time. SO THANKS

Well, ABit has a reputation for OCing boards. So even if you dont plan to OC now, you can always do it L8er, and this board will let you.

If your really concerned about stability, ASUS are generally considered the most stable. But ABit are still stable enough for most uses.

What CPU/RAM/VC are you planning to use?

ATI X850 XT or X800 XL
Corsair vale select RAM 1gig

Like Rod said ASUS is known for stable boards, but you should do just fine with the ABIT.

Nice! Actually it's a very good choice for a 1st build. Remember, always read all instructions on all hardware before start putting it together. Don't be like others who will only read instructions after they found it is not working. Or worse yet only after they received a RMA!

Don't forget the floppy drive. You may need it for the SATA drivers. XP SP2 has some native support for Nvidia, but a floppy drive is still handy to have sometimes.
