There is absolutely no reason why they should reduce the fine. Instead they should pull your license.

Wow... you got caught doing one of those things that you're lucky you were never caught doing. That sucks dude. The judge is probably gonna yell at you.

What kind of car?

Ignore the haters, they live in safe little boxes and never do anything dangerous or wreckless.

hopefully you learn your lesson...if you're going to speed like that, take it to a controlled track.

I got caught for 64 in a 35. Fortunately I was a teenager at the time, and when I informed the judge I was just having a bad day -- feeling angsty over a girl -- he reduced the fine. (It also helped that my mother was there to say that I usually refused to go over the speed limit and would even bug my parents when they did it)

You may get lucky, or you might get a judge who's a stickler for the rules. No way to tell really.

What are you, stupid? The "haters" aren't worried about themselves. They're worried about the van full of little children this moron piles into because he lost control of his car.

At least you seem to recognize how stupid it was. That's more than can be said about asshats like Nebor.

Bad things happen to good people. If he didn't run into them, maybe their tire would have blown out and they all die anyways. Who knows? C'est la vie.

This would hold water, if they purposely try and blow out tires to test fate...

There's so much anti-hater hate floating around lately.

Speeding that excessively doesn't romanticize your life; it doesn't make you Clint Eastwood. It makes you an asshat that endangers innocent lives and raises insurance premiums.

Like mugs said, at least the OP realizes that he f'd up.

Are those pretty quick? I had a friend w/ a Mazda mp3 that was into autocross. He could get up to about 120 in that little car given enough time. Within the first year he had it, he had to get all new brakes and rotors. They were warped from 120-50mph stopping on the highway. That car handled like I couldn't believe though... Mazda's are the only Japanese cars with great styling. They really have a road presence, I love 'em.

If I can do 95+ in my Isuzu Rodeo, a Mazda 6 can do 110.

I'm just saying that whatever happens, happens. You can't go through your life worrying about every little thing, like what other people do or don't do... You do your best to find your own way, even if you're doing it at 100mph+. I've always thought, if I die going that fast or racing, at least I'll die happy, doing something I loved.

It's just a plain 160/175 hp/torque sedan with aggessive looks.

Man I'm so anxious. What if the cop doesn't show up?
