These are really decent speakers. I've bought 4 pair of these in the past (when the price was right).

PRO's: 8W-rms, a headphone jack on the main right channel speaker which disables the speakers for private headset listening, decent Base woofer with adjustable gain, both games and music sound good even at higher levels.

CON's: Single volume control on right channel spkr, so no individual treble, base, or other bells/whistles (however, depending on your sound card, you may have control over accoustic niceties such as spatial expansion, echo, etc).
