Caught this deal on Evertek.com(CompGeeks). Note that these are NOT refurbs but are NEW but are selling for $99 bucks where CompGeeks are still at $139.99. Not quite the quility of my Klipsh 5.1's but hey they were 300 dollars more expensive too. I have these running on another machine of mine and they sound pretty good in almost anything. Games, Movies, Music.

Linky

At time of posting they had 111 in stock.

Good Luck and Happy hunting

They're actually a 'little' misleading. They are actually Dolby® Pro Logic Surround Sound.

Its a phantom center channel... The 2 front satellites create the illusion of a center channel over the monitor. And as for the digital, i believe that they are dolby digital (as opposed to pro logic), but dont quote me on that.

As for the speakers, for $99, GET THEM! I have 2 friends with these and they are very good. Not as good as my klipsch's, but for $99 you cant beat that.
Comparing these 880's to my klipsch's i'll put a chart for each:

880's ($99 right now)
-------
+ Bass (that sucker can shake the crap outta a room, 8" woofer)
+ Remote Control (really helps)
+ Digital
+ Price (yeeep)

Klipsch ($279-$399, depending on 4.1 or 5.1)
---------
+ Bass (even more than the 880's, it has 2 woofers in the same enclosure, they are a little smaller, but pound alot more)
+ Highs (it has a horn tweeter, makes the highs sweeter and projects more)
+ Wattage (400 watts total, can really fill a room without distortion, and these suckers can get LOUD!)

If i think of any more i'll add them... Feel free to comment and add to this...
Personally, if you can afford it go for the Klipsch's, but thats a big price difference.. Its up to you...

I own the ADA880r (r is for the remote I think)

Ive had them over a year now and let me just say THEY ROCK.

Very clear and crisp, but the 15lb subwoofer takes the cake. Ive had neighbors come over and ask me t turn the radio down, that is was shaking their walls, and there is a good 20ft between my house and theirs.

Evertek is the wholesale side of compgeeks that sells to dealers and resellers. You have to prove you are a dealer/reseller and "sign up" with them before you can order.

We are the easiest company to get started with. A very simple 15 question form, plus you need to fax a copy of your company check (if in California a copy of your resale form). No other wholesale company is so easy!

These guys only sell to dealers............but if you PM me I can get you them (because I'm am a-=part time=- D-@l-r). I'll do this as a favor because all the good deals I've gotten in here since I started only a month ago! (and I want some other things from their site.

PM me if you are interested. I it's 89.99 (4+) plus double (to me then you) shipping (and if enough people PM then it won't cost much along with the stuff I'm gonna get.

these seem like they would be good for gaming and music but it seems if you want to watch dvds using these you really won't be hearing the true dolby digital or dts signal the way its meant to be heard since these dont have a center channel.

Can we quote the site? It actually states Doly Pro Logic. You think I just typed that copyright symbol above? Pure cut and paste from the ad.
