Alternative Browsers Not functioning

I recently did a clean install of windows XP professional, after the install I performed all the security updates and etc. Now after I install some alternative browswers (netscape 7.1, mozilla, opera) they will not launch. Has anyone had problems similar to this?

Might be worth checking permissions on the program folders. I've installed Phoenix on XP Pro/2K machines, and since the folder was simply unzipped from an archive, it was created as executable only by Administrator. I would think, though, that the browsers you're talking about should have better install routines than Phoenix. Are you getting any kind of error messages?
