alternative drivers for laptops

I about to reformat my laptop a dell 9400 x1400 and T2400 1.83

Ive heard some talk about people using other drivers for better performance so far all i have is the omega drivers.

any 1 can please tell me where i can get drivers for

Motherboard and whatever else i need drivers for ?

You have a Dell laptop and are looking for the drivers for said Dell Laptop? Gosh, if only there was some place you could go to get drivers for Dell systems. Some site that had all of them localized and in one location. Where o where would one look for these Dell drivers??

Sorry about being an ass, but it is a bit of a silly question. Furthermore, I could have been more of an ass, but I know how to draw the line.

You're not going to get "better performance" with these 'alternate drivers.' So, you'll squeeze a few more 3dMark06 points out with ATI Omega drivers, but no other drivers are going to do the same thing. I'm a big fan of the following: If it isn't broken, don't fix it. And if you don't know what you're doing, don't mess with stuff, because then you'll come back here when things go wrong. People would post more helpful responses if your posts were written in a way that would be conducive to people helping you.

If you want different drivers, there is Google and the manufacturers' websites of each of the parts that make up your computer. Intel does not provide mobile chipset drivers.

dude i know this is thread jackin but i dont care help me my new dewalt cordless kit works great but who has different batteries for it? i want to use milwaukee batteries who can help me i cant wait ill start another thread if i have to tell me
