Altezzas look OK if they're STOCK on the car (i.e. Lexus). Otherwise, they just look like crap. Also, what is with this new trend of putting Altezzas on your truck or SUV? I live in a semi-rural area with plenty of truck-driving hicks, so maybe I just notice it more than usual. It still looks crappy though....

i bet those lights would look good on a 91 dodge spirit or something of that family. That website with all the lights, if you look under the 'Manufacturers' pull down on the left side it has one: 'tunned my Matrix' Dictionary.com describes 'tunned' as: to put into tuns, or casks. Heh

That doesn't make sense. Either they look good or they don't, or they look good on some cars, bad on others. It has nothing to do with how they come from the factory. That's just "stock looks best" cliche.

it makes perfect sense

it's not called altezaa's on an altezza's, it's called rear tail lights on an altezza

on everything else it's called "euro clears", and they're ugly as fvck

on the VERY VERY VERY rare occasion, the CF ones look okay

The black/grey ones can look good if they're matched with the right color car...but in general, bleh. I don't "hate" them, but I'm not frantically searching to buy some for my car....

They are called clear tail lights on the IS.

And he has a point. If Honda suddenly put clear tail lights stock on the RSX somehow it would look better than if someone put it on aftermarket? No. Stock or not stock, either something looks good or it doesn't.

Anyways, I've seen the carbon ones on a black Celica, they look alright. Otherwise I'm not really a fan of them, even on the IS. The IS with the optional tail light covers look better IMO.

When I test drove a Lancer Evo one of the salesladies commented on the looks of the car. I said it looks great except for the tail lights. She asked what I would change them to and AAPC came out and "normal" ones She seemed somewhat stunned by that statement.
