'bros before hos' is one of the dumbest things ever. It's not like you'll spend the rest of your life together with that guy (unless you're gay), but if the girl and you love eachother you will with her. If the guy can't take you dating a girl who doesn't want him, or whom he has broken up with, he's just a whiny little kid with emotional problems. Finding a partner is a lot more difficult than finding new male friends, the later just takes walking into a bar and buying everyone a round.

P.S. Girls/women are not 'hos'.

Yeah unfortunately most guys wouldn't do the right thing in this situation in my experience, picture me in your roommate's situation as I've been through it.. man if he did what you did we might've still been friends and I'd have less issues with trust and women... :frown:
