Am I a bad person?

The other day I pulled up to a red light at like 1:30AM next to some loser in his riced-out Civic with the fart can from hell and a rear spoiler that looked like it was stolen from a library. I say "some loser" because I go to school with him (well, before he dropped out...), complete idiot.

I also saw a cop sitting up ahead, and I know damn well that there's always one there. I didn't like the kid because his car made me cry, so I dropped down into neutral and revved the shit outta my car. He did the same, and I chuckled because I knew what was about to happen. Light flips to green, and this kid mats his pedal (except he missed a shift so it was kinda funny) and starts racing me, who hasn't even left the intersection yet.

Two seconds later, I see the cruiser's lights kick on and just smile to myself. I figure if you're dumb enough to speed a street that is absolutely infested with cops taking radar, ESPECIALLY at 1:30 AM on HALLOWEEN, then you probably deserve to get pulled over.

Does this make me a bad person?

You're a terrible person, you knowingly and maliciously set him up. Just because you don't like what he do to and his taste in cars give you a reason to purposely screw him over?

A+, I've done this before... why in the world anyone thinks that I'm trying to race against a Mustang in my Geo Metro is beyond me, but hey... I got the fastest 1/4 mile time from the light **snickers**

Fart cans, big wings and crappy body kits.

Note there is a difference between tuner and rice.

For the most part, it's usually rice you see.

if you actually did rev your car like you claimed the cop could of pulled you both over for "street racing".

keep pushing your luck :disgust:

Umm, revving my engine at a red light is illegal?

And the cop was about three blocks down with both windows up, and my car can't be heard from anything more than like 20 feet.

Yep, it's pretty much all bling and very little/no performance.

He got himself pulled over.

However, encouraging street racing is a pretty dick move.

+1 for you screwing over the moron that (presumably) lives in the same area as you and wasn't aware of the "usual" speed traps. Pulled that one myself once or twice. OTOH, karma can be a bit of a b***h.

QFT...if this went down that way the OP would be equally at fault for 'street racing'.

I call shens anyway. He has questioned me getting involved in anything similar as I should mind my own business.

Good story though
