I went and enjoyed it. Some unique events happened at my prom which I will never forget. Most of the people who are hating the prom here are the ones who probably were turned down by several girls or tried to go against the crowd and refused to go. Like the rest of school, there will be memories made at the prom that people will talk about for the rest of your life. I've been out of school for 8-9 years and every time I talk to a former classmate, prom and the graduation parties get mentioned more than anything. My prom cost me about $120-200 total as I went to a cheaper, yet nicer food establishment and I got a deal on my tux. The original question was probably a bad idea asking here in an environment of people who take technology and their ego above real world experiences.

Reliving prom with high school classmates nine years after you left. I'm pretty sure that makes you a loser. Get out of the past, loser. The present and future are what count.

Usually other topics are discussed. Our prom was interesting as more than one thing happened there that was unusual. Poking me with simple childish names shows where you are coming from. The past is what makes the present and future. I don't relive the past but talk about memories when the conversation comes up.

once again, people try and defend their selves on a forum, to people they will most likely ever meet...now dont get me wrong, i have e-friends i play cs with or wow, but i would much rather go drink with some buddies or hang out with my gf than chat with them and scrim or something...
