Well my good comp died, and I was planning to move the 512mb ram to my crappy comp. So my bad comp has, 4 slots for ram, two that are black and the other two are blue. Now heres the problem....in the black slots, there is two pins sticking out, the ram I have in there has two little open slots that align perfectly with the pins and fit perfectly.
But my 512 has only one open slot in the middle...so it won't fit. The blue slots for ram have one pin, so the 512 fits in there, but when I turn on the comp, it goes like this:
Checling NVRAM.....Update Failed.
And stops loading.
Help?
