am I the only engineer who showers??

I'm sitting in one of my engineering class and it smells like nasty BO. Every class it smells horrible. I've moved to all four corner seats and can't escape! Though one corner is slightly better /rant

Plenty of engineers shower ... but most of us are "excentric" and anti-social.

OP, from your post I get the impression that you are an engineering student. Where I work/live unless you have an engineering degree + passed the EIT exam + have 5 years experience + passed the PE exam ... you shouldn't call yourself an engineer.

Those were the only ones that had an issue with BO in my school. It actually got bad enough one year that the physics department head sent a carefully worded letter to anybody with an office in the physics building, reminding them that hygiene was important

Heh Where I went to school they would send students home to shower if they smelled enough to bother other people.

then again i know some indians that dont smell at all
their homes are a different story.

unforunately, IT and engineering is full of indians that come here.

I had no odor issues with americanized engineering students while I was in school. The problem was mostly from the FOB Indian and Chinese grad students.

One computer lab had the constant smell of BO mixed with curry. Fortunately, most of them stayed in that lab. The rest of us remotely logged in from other labs on campus or from home.

so true. why is it so hard to meet other well-rounded people? its like people have their strengths, but with everything else theyre just dumbasses.
