Am I the only one that thinks Halo kind of sucks ?

i agree, I'm on the side that loves it. It was the first FPS on console that actually seemed playable for long hours. Especially when I get in a banshee...Anyways, I just got it for PC and so far so good. I'm definately not a console person though, i only own a gamecube and thats just for metroid prime...

I never liked it too much. PC version ran like crap on my computer too. However we finally got a tv big enough to justify 4 player xbox. I like the sensitivity a computer mouse provides but the xbox controller isn't too bad once you get used to it. We play 4 player team shotgun only. "team shotties" Get in a tiny map and go crazy. I think that's the best way to play that game. Interested to see if halo 2 is any more fun for MP.

I always thought FPS on consoles would be terrible, after having played PC ones for so long. But after giving up on PC gaming a couple years ago once I got my XBox, I've found some FPSes aren't that bad at all. Halo is a fantastic game, multiplayer(over XBConnect prefferably, so you can play full screen) is so much fun with the relatively small maps and cool vehicles.
Great game, I can't wait for 2 to come out, so I can play on Live.

Yeah, UT2k4's storyline is completely engrossing.

I tried it on the Xbox and couldn't get into it. I'd played so many better FPS games on the computer. I guess it was good for a console FPS, but compared to those on the PC, it sucked.

FPS belong on PCs, and fighting games belong on consoles. Neither one is satisfactory on the other platform IMO.

Sports games can be good on both, and racing games (granted you have a controller).
