Am I the only person who takes pleasure in doing laundry??

I dunno why..but washing my clothes always gives me this sense of happiness and enjoyment.

I love doing laundry...

folding laundry, however... = the suck

I HATE laundry,...however, I enjoy doing the dishes. Gives me time to drift off into my own little world without that guilty feeling of being lazy. My woman thinks I'm strange since she's never known a man who actually likes doing dishes, but I tell her it's relaxing and therapeutic for me.

No, your not the only one who takes pleasure in doing your laundry.

I've got 3 hampers in my closet (ok one large hamper with 3 mesh bins). As I take off my clothes I just toss them in the proper bin. So when it is laundry day it takes me 30 seconds to "do" the laundry as you discribe. I pick up a mesh bin, carry it to the washer, turn it on, and soap and the laundry in. I cannot see any reason that 30 seconds of work will give me any sense of happiness and enjoyment. The folding laundry is where the real work is. And in my opinion you cannot say you enjoy doing laundry if you don't like folding and putting it away.

hahaha...for some reason that cracked me up. I guess a 3 hamper system sounds funny since I just use my closet floor Your way makes life a lot more easier though. I may have to try it.

It was a gift from my mother-in-law to me and my wife. It probably cost under $10 (just a plastic rack with 3 mesh bags) and is a great thing to have. One hamper has whites, one has lights and things that won't bleed, and the last has darks and things that will bleed.
