Amazon 1 day Fedex shipping ?

So I placed an order on wednesday night, it says it will be delivered today, October 3rd and it says they shipped it today. Is my package gonna make all the way here to Virginia today? Original location: Texas

Amazon SUCKS with getting shipments out when their supposed to....

Twice they missed important dates by shipping my crap 2-3 days after they said it would ship....

A lot of times Amazon will ship it from a warehouse close to your city. You may get it today, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
