Great deal. It is hard to even find a USB charger with a throughput of more than a few amps. Sure they charge fast if one thing is plugged in but it sure won't be fast if more than one high power device is plugged in.

That's not the way it works! It has 40 watts available. The device determines how much current it draws. A larger amperage available does not increase the demand from the device.

you sure about that? at 4 amps your battery will charge much faster but as far as I know it does take a toll on the battery. many phones will tell you not to use more than 1 amp chargers. The latest Samsung phones come with 2 amp chargers but they too are not supposed to be charged at any higher ampage

The electronics between the battery and the power source determine the charge rate. Show me a published warning like that for any device that isn't just a battery.

As said, capacity is the upper limit on draw, but draw depends on the charger circuit.
