Interesting that when you click on their link for all DVDs at $6.97 you don't get a complete list. I recently ordered Dune, the TV miniseries 3 disc set for $6.97 as well as Terminator 2 Extreme for $6.97. I also picked up The Fifth Element Ultimate Edition which includes the Superbit version of the movie as well as a bonus disc for $11.97. You get free shipping at $25. JandR had both Dune and T2 for $4.99 last week but raised the prices on their sale items several days before it was scheduled to end. I waited until Black Friday and picked up a number of the titles in that sale for $3.44 at WalMart.

Dune $6.97

The Fifth Element Ultimate Edition $11.97

Amazon Rating

If any other business had that rating, I'd probably avoid them.

But with the name Amazon.com, I (like many others) have and will continue to shop there.

I recently jumped on the Law & Order Criminal Intent Seasons 1 and 3 for 19.99 each.. I must have accidently picked an old address.. amazon sent them there.. they got sent back... Now amazon won't forward them to my correct address. They want me to reorder and won't let me have the 19.99 price. /cry

Hey no bashing Amazon. I have been using them for years (many years) with over $100 purchases per month and never had a problem. In fact when something did come up i either emailed them or called them and they were quick to fix it as well as sending me concession coupons (anywhere between $10-$25 off) as well as free shipping on things that should have cost allot (electronics especially). So for me Amazon is my favorite and than probably Dell.

Instead of filling the dvd with extras or commentary, they use the lowest possible compression to fill up the disk. It should make for better image quality.

Their lifetime rating is 6.26

I have never had a problem with them. One of my top 3 online stores to shop overall.

Once had a collectors edition book shipped from amazon. The corners were crushed an not very collectable anymore, they shipped me another an stuck a new shipping label in the box to ship the crushed one back. They made a customer for life with that experience.

Thanks... but nothing too desirable in there. Matchstick Men, Demolition Man, and Nuremberg is about the best I found in there.
