No surprises really. Seems like the reviewers are not impressed. It's great for buying stuff from Amazon, not so great for much of anything else.

Firefly apparently is hit and miss on identifying stuff and needs work.
Dynamic Perfective sometimes is neat, other times gets in the way and is said to feel gimmicky and they'd prefer to just turn it off.
The Fire OS UI is confusing and unintuitive (the home screen looks a bit messy).
The camera is good at low light, but is slow.
And the app selection is limited (no Google Play), but I think the geekier people can side load apps.
And if all that wasn't enough, you can only get it on AT&T.

Yup it was dumb for Amazon to let it be exclusive on AT&T. Amazon needs it in as many hands as possible. Say hello to the first and last Amazon phone.

Yeah, the 3d is definitely a neat gimmick, but it isn't the best idea on a phone. They should have just gotten a phone out...several years ago...with the amazon features. Wait for the 3d part and put it in a fire tablet, not a tiny phone.

Yeah, Dynamic Perspective might actually be kinda cool on a larger screen like a Fire HDX (or whatever it's successor will be).

But not something I think I'd want on a 4.7 inch phone.

I'm still amazed at how disappointing this is from Amazon. I'm an Amazon fan, Prime subscriber, even owned a Fire HD once. I was expecting something considerably better after all the time they spent on this phone.
