They're actually quite decent knives, although not quite on the level of Wusthof or so on. For someone just moving into an apartment, or a wedding gift etc, this is a great buy. I'm considering it just to save until someone I know gets married, heh.

don't mess with sabatier knives - even at that price i bet they are still not at or below cost. perhaps there are different lines of sabatier, but i got a set for $$cheap from amazon (they flog these every friday) and i only use the steak knives, possibly the bread knife - nothing that needs to hold a sharp edge.

if you love sharpening knives you'll love sabatier. otherwise, really, spend some money on a good knife - it will be a lifelong friend. one good sharp knife is a hotter deal than a whole amazon warehouse of crappy knives. and quality sharp knives are safer.

i was gonna say if anyone wants my crappy sabatiers just pm me pay the shipping their yours, but i think i'll do us all a favor and just throw them away.

Looks like they raised the price on the lemonader. I almost bought this a couple of months ago for $15. Well it is still cheaper at $10. I will have to give it more thought though.
