Amazon Gold Box - Direct Link

Blank for me with IE 6. Maybe it's the browser?

I could never get it until I tried it in IE 5.0 on a Windows 98 box. Now it won't appear there but it does on my XP computer with IE 6. It's strange. Also, I am getting into the box more than once every 24 hours.

To get better items, add stuff from the stores you like into your wish list. Lots of stuff. I have like 8 digital cameras and 12 computers in my wish list . I used to get hardware and tools and such but recently I've been offered Altec Lansing speakers, a GPS, a PDA, and other electronic stuff.

OMG,.. that linky instead of just linking you the box makes amazon give it to you if you never had it(like me). I exited out of the window and manually went to amazon.com and theres my new personalized gold box

Good call. I hadn't seen my gold box in many days. Lowered security settings to Low, cleared cookies, went to the link, logged in, and there was the gold box! I now bumped the security back up and it's still there now that I logged in with it I guess.

Actually, I just tried to see my new gold box...no dice.

Installed Mozilla and it was there.

I keep getting this friggin kitchen stuff though. :| I have bought 1 book from amazon.com and it was about geology, so past purchases have nothing to do with it (for me at least).

I get the most amazing crap in my gold box. It's either a bunch of tools, or a bunch of kids toys.

I think this is hot deal revenge, the only time I ever looked at tools was that one time Amazon had the huge hardware clearance sale, so of course I probably cliked on 300 different tools, trying to find if any were worth it at the 79% off or whatever.

The toys, I bought a jeep wrangler (another hot deal) for $9.95 once.

Stupid amazon. I WOULD buy electronics from them all the time - except they rarely have the best prices. So instead of identifying what I'd LIKE to buy from them, their gold box has identified the things I buy when they're on super clearance sale.

a piece of advice for people with multiple accounts:

If you log in with one account and get a bunch of craps in your gold box, the chance that you get craps again is more than 99% if you simply clear your cookies and log in with another account. It doesn't matter if you bought different things with different account. It's strange but it seems to me that what I found. Maybe for each account you log in, add something you like to your wish list first?

I've tried to load this gold box maybe 15 times in the past. I said what the hey and did it just now and it worked. Of course, there was nothing to tickle my fancy, but at least I got to experience the gold box bliss. I am not an outsider. I am once again part of the family!!

Mine worked for a while, then disappeared. It's back again and as lame as ever. First it would give me nothing but kitchen items, which I have NEVER ordered. Then it was the tools...never ordered.

But NOW, I am getting REPEAT offers. I guess that Amazon forgot that the link says "Pass and Lose this Deal FOREVER". What makes it worse is that they are repeat kitchen items. I'd like to have some of what those Amazon marketeers are smoking. Now, THAT would make a good Gold Box offer!
