Hehe, I placed my order on Oct. 23.

You know why I did not post this deal at that time? I believe this is a discontinued product, so they won't have many supply, so you guys won't have many chance to get it after my BIG order.

Well, nobody is gonna get it anyway.

Four of the five different companies that I ordered from have now weighed in with their cacellations; only leaves Amazon to hear from.

Amazon doesnt ship from drop off end vendors warehouses, they have their own warehouses, so we still have some chance.

However, an email I received from them recently about some cancellations was that &quot;their supplier had underestimated their inventory&quot;. So apparently, these items were not in stock at the Amazon distribution centers and was dependent on receiving stock from their supplier to fulfill orders. Not exactly drop ship from another vendor but definitely dependent on supplier's inventory in some cases.

This whole thing is kinda &quot;shaky like cafeteria jello&quot;. (quote borrowed from Dan Rather's corny analogies last night during his coverage)

Not a good sign... my Estimated Delivery dates are starting to slip: was 11/10-11/17, is now 11/13-11/20.

i ordered six and never got a cancellation email. i just looked at my order status and it was changed from &quot;usually ships in 2-3 days&quot; to &quot;ships in 1-2 weeks&quot;. maybe they are getting a bunch of them in a while?

i just got an email from amazon apologizing that the items havent been shipped due to difficulties in obtaining them. at first it looked like a cancellation email but my order is apparantely still open.

Well, it sounds a bit better if they delay and not outright cancel yet.....I'm just wondering how they're going to find hundreds of these things. I also wonder how hard they will look for them....since it is something they're selling for .58....not the highest profit margin there...

Received my &quot;Dear John&quot; from Amazon. All five vendors that I ordered from have now checked in with the same 'unavailable' message. Looks like these showed on one distributors inventory log(Ingram?); were then slated for clearance (quan. three?) and forwarded in a list to various/all vendors. When the price hit the general distribution channels, they were history.

hmmm....my order just disappeared from the &quot;my orders&quot; page. Nothing in the past orders either...simply disappeared. No email from amazon, either. Anyone else have this happen? :|
