I ordered a TV yesterday and scheduled delivery for today. I did think being able to do next day delivery was a surprise but figured I'd hit the button and see what happened in tracking. It ended up shipping from the distro center to the carrier at 7:30pm last night and that distro center is only 15 minutes from my house. No worries then, next day delivery should be easily doable if it's only 15 minutes away.
Anyway, the window I selected was 9am to noon for today, it's now 15 minutes past the window and of course nothing has been delivered. I call the carrier and they don't even have the item yet and they also said something along the lines of "Amazon does this all the time, you cannot trust their delivery windows. We call you to set up an appointment." Really? Then why in the world does Amazon even offer the delivery window option up when ordering the product?
Honestly I'd love to have the TV today but that's not the point here. You guys know the story, you spend hours at home waiting on something that's not delivered as promised (scheduled delivery, cable guy, etc.) and then find out you're going to have to do it again on another day. Oh and this carrier doesn't deliver on weekends.
Anyway, just venting here. I'm sure you fellas can relate.

Amazon refunded $108, apologized, etc. Still waiting for delivery timing confirmation but at least I know the next delivery window should be a good one.
