This is GREAT I actually just had a whole crapload of ShutterFly pictures sent to me. The quality was *AWESOME*. I hope Ofoto will be just as good. You can't pass up some free prints AND $25

Oh as a side note,

You don't need to upload 25 UNIQUE photos. You can upload a few pictures and get duplicates, so long as they send you 25 PRINTS, it could be 25 prints of 1 photo

Has Amazon gone mad? It takes 30 seconds to sign up for this using a different address/apt number - as it's free you can select the pay by check/money order option which negates the duplicate credit card issue.

Let's see, 1 sign up per minute for 1 hour = 60 times $25 =$1500 in gift certificates. No wonder these dotcoms are dropping like flies! Enjoy it while it lasts.

Yeah, hopefully people have better things to do with their time...but I've never bought anything from amazon before, just how does this work? Do you buy this, get it shipped to you, run some software, and upload? or what? I want to get in on this deal (I have some pics that I'd like to have prints of, though they're not necessarily photo scans or anything) but I think the people that serzone described will kill the deal soon (you know there's always people like that out there.) Sounds to me like you have to get the free software. Load it then sign-up to get the Amazon $25. Not sure I need more junk on my pc.

Someone do it then tell me how easy it is to get rid of the software on your pc....

i just downloaded their software and uploaded 25 digital pics taken by my Agfa CL18 (good outdoor pics) that i got for $17 a while back (OD+rebate deal). they are shipping me 25 4x6 photos via us mail for a grand total of $2.49. I don't see any more info on the gift certificate though, can anyone tell me how to make sure to get it? I am a new member to ofoto, but i have used amazon before. the description is a little unclear as to what the member must be new to. free prints are cool though! beatniks3

I gave Ofoto's "top-notch customer service department" a call since I was about to place an order and had seen nothing regarding the $25 Amazon GC. A CSR told me that the GC was only for customers that had purchased a digital camera and then redeemed their 25 free prints.

On the Ofoto page at Amazon, it says nothing about purchasing a digital camera to get the GC.

Even without the GC, 25 prints for a couple bucks is still pretty good. Thanks.

I had purchased a digicam from Amazon in December (using $50 rebate coupon) and received this offer in an email. I would have posted, but couldn't get the link to work without my personal ID info in it. The page is different than the one I get from the link above. It offers the $25 GC and says to bookmark the page and come back after you have ordered your prints. Then it says that, once Amazon has confirmed you ordered your prints, you will receive the GC. We'll see. I uploaded 25 photos and received them last week.

Bottom line, I don't think the link to the GC page works without the personal ID info, so don't plan on receiving anything. I did not have to download any software, just join Ofoto, upload 25 photos and order. Prints are good quality, but if you are looking for a service, don't foget the other post floating around for a bunch of free prints from Shutterfly.

No mention of a camera, no special code needed. Looks like you need to be a new Amazon Photo customer, and a new Ofoto (or are those the same thing?) customer to get the GC.

I ordered the CD - it was free, so why not try it?

GO HERE after you have ordered your prints put in the email and password that you used to sign up with ofoto through this offer on this page.It says they will check to see if you have already ordered your prints and if you have they will send you your gift certificate.GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!
