<< SinMen - How odd. I sent in 25 pics of my ex-wife, and they are all still up on the ofoto site, and they claim to have shipped the pictures. I haven't received them yet, but they are due in tomorrow or Friday. No Email about "obejectional material".

Maybe you should try again... Or did you send in some really hardcore stuff? I didn't send in Hustler type pictures... just Playboy.

Got links to those pictures, dude?

F.Y.I, I received an email directly from Amazon for this deal and received my prints in early March. Still waiting on the GC. Hate to have to put Amazon in the naughty netizens category...

Wait...did you guys even order the software from the original link. I just joined and uploaded 25 photos. Will I still get the GC? I just now went and ordered the free software just in case, but there was nothing I had to download to upload the photos except a plug-in.

A new member of amazon or ofoto? I don't want those pics if I'm not going to get a gc.

I got my pics from ofoto today... seeing as how they're all photos I took with my digital camera, I won't be upset even if we *don't* get the $25 cert - all I'm out is $2.50 and a little bit of time. Certainly not out of line considering the 25 great-quality prints I just got, including 2 pics I took at the beach, which have now been framed and ready to hang.

James (I'm still pulling for the GC, though.)

Wow, all I can say is these photos look INCREDIBLE. Some of them were low res 640x480 shots taken on my HP C200 and there were CROPPED so it was even lower res, and almost all of them came out looking awesome, sharper than many film cameras. There were a couple that were grainy, but I cropped them a LOT, so they turned out well for what they were printed from. I can't wait to take some pictures with my Sony DSC-S30 and send them for printing. This is cool!

I've just completed my ordering of 25 photos. What to I have to do to get the GC? I went to the www.amazon.ofoto.com/25/ and it just routed me to the opening page. By the way, this is really an awesome service and very reasonably priced. Definitely an option versus buying the expensive photo paper!! Even w/o the GC it's a pretty hot deal!

hah, its more then an option If you want prints that last, this is the only way to go. I think epson has some archive quality photoinks/paper, but they are costly unproven, and err only epson that i know of.

kinda makes me feel like i should have spent the money i used for my HP 970cxi on a good laser printer instead i'd love to see an inject that could hold ground against this, even the costly glossy isn't going to last as long as these.

ZeroBurn,

For what it's worth my $99 Epson 777 prints photo's better than any other inkjet I have seen yet (2880x720). I'll let you guys know how the quality compares to the prints I made on the Epson to the Ofoto prints when I receive them.

I'd say using such photo print service is better than buying a photo printer.
A photo printer costs so much, the ink costs so much, the paper also costs so much. nowadays hardware doesn't last long, it probably will become out of order after warranty period.

25 "free" photos. Cost me 2.50 for shipping but good quality overall. I had to
call support to credit the 25 free ones before it would work. I am just wondering if
anyone got the gift card yet($25)?

Amazon charged me $15 for overnight shipping on this one. I wrote them a WTF email saying that I wasn't going to pay $15 for a free POS product. Just got a phone call from an Amazon rep who said they are going to refund the shipping.

Anything from Amazon yet, anybody? Still waiting and hoping. The pix were wonderful, and I'm not about to complain about the $2.50 shipping, but that $25 sure would come in handy right about now

I received this deal in an email directly from Amazon cuz I bought a digicam from them in December. I received my prints over a month ago, but still no GC. WTF? I didn't expect Amazon to resort to the shameless bogus promotion we see so often from no name outfits on these forums...I think I will send back an email and place a call to see if I can find out what's going on and perhaps recoup my $2.50. Yeah, that's cheap for 25 quality photos, but it's the principle, right?

I just sent Amazon an e-mail about the $25 GC. I got my prints about 3 weeks ago and still no e-mail about a GC. I am happy with the quality of the prints, though. For 2.50, it's a good deal to get in on regardless. They are just as good as the shutterfly prints. I got some 8x10 shutterfly prints from my Kodak 3200 1 megapixel camera and they came out GREAT! No quality loss at all. There are SO many benefits to owning a digital camera! Being able to take as many damn pictures as you want is one of them. Who cares how sh*tty they turn out, you can just delete them. But sometimes you get some great shots that you wouldn't have even attempted on a 35mm camera, just because you know it could have turned out horrible and you didn't want to waste the film. Also, there's never any quality loss to the picture. Not to mention you can burn 1000 pictures onto a CD and send it to a relative or friend in another state or country for almost nothing.

didn't it say 4-6 weeks? i'm just glad someone got it- that means they're at least definitely getting to them. now it's just playing the patiance game- with all the rebates and stuff i'm waiting on another week doesn't seem like such a big deal
