I would bet that Asian labor has an advantage over American workers because of the difference in cost between rice and meat. I remember a story about Mulla Nasrudin who was in the donkey smuggling trade. The donkeys were eating a lot of his profit so he restricted their diet and just at the point where he had reduced the food bill to practically nothing his donkeys died. Probably the execs at Amazon have read the story and believe themselves to be smarter than the Mulla. There is a difference between donkeys and people, right?

It had to do with how some workers are using a 'phones hung trees' technology to snag delivery jobs before others playing by the rules can get them. Actually it's decreasing their workloads by stealing the gigs, having other drivers do the work, but apparently giving them a cut. All they do is intercept the requests and sell them offYes, article has nothing to do with over-worked employees.
