I don't want to come off as a thread crap. This is the best price on a 670 right now period. But I will say that I did not purchase this because their "lifetime warranty" is life of production. Just trying to empower the buyer.

Very nice deal!

I think if the EVGA 670 FTW comes down to the low 300's I might step in and drop the bones for one on a second machine: it's a very nice card the 670

Aren't most, if not all, lifetime GPU warranties based on the life of production, as opposed to that of the owner? Even after production ceases, the manufacturer usually keep enough units in inventory to take care of warranty replacement for a few years, by then the card will be obsolete. And if the manufacturer replaces it with a newer part with equivalent performance, there's no real harm done (I suppose the one scenario where this could be problematic is when you have a multi-GPU setup and therefor require an identical part). Even top manufacturers such as eVGA/MSI/Asus only offer a 3-year limited warranty on their graphic cards.

$370 AR is currently the lowest price on a GTX 670, although I think $400 is probably too much for a reference card (which the PNY is) in the first place, when units with a custom PCB/cooler design (such as the factory-overclocked Gigabyte Windforce GTX 670) are readily available at $400-410.

BTW, the warranty is only 1 year unless you register the product in a timely manner.

PNY will not replace it with a newer card of equivalent performance, or at least their warranty does not require it. My EVGA 570s have double lifetime warranties on them and are covered for the duration of my ownership and the next persons'. Before this I bought BFG products which were also a true lifetime warranty product and I received a 7900 GO to replace my 8800 vanilla when it died four years later.

Unfortunately you are correct: BFG is gone and EVGA stopped having this warranty and now they cover for 3 years.

There are also a lot of people on [H] saying that PNY shafted them on warranty claims.

I don't know the truth of it as I have zero experience with them.

PNY will most certainly replace it with a new card equal to it if the same card is not available. that is especially true for XLR8 cards and if you doubt then call them and they will tell you the same thing. I have done two RMAs with them just because of crappy reference fans that got noisy over time and they were very easy and fast to deal with it.

I had a PNY GTX 280 that died after the 280 went EoL and it was immediately replaced with a GTX 285. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from PNY.

Don't expect PNY to honor the rebate! My brother just bought a PNY GTX 680 from B&H Photo and PNY denied his rebate "due to invalid rebate location". B&H has been around for many years. They are not some recent fly by night company. The PNY rebate form he used was on B&H Photo's website. The only reason he bought PNY was because of the rebate. Neither PNY nor B&H Photo will do anything. Both of us have bought items from B&H Photo in the past, but neither of us will buy PNY or from B&H Photo again. And I get many requests for purchasing advice for IT, photography, and electronics products (all of which they sell) due to my job and contacts. Just goes to show that you never know how treating a customer badly will hurt your business.

And I know this is for Amazon which I buy a lot from, no problem with their service (except for the free shipping which always takes forever before they ship it out).

B&H is on PNY's authorized vendor list--so unless this was a non-B&H, vendor-specific rebate (e.g., only at Newegg, or Tigerdirect), PNY definitely should honor it, provided all other requirements were met (date of purchase, date of submission, UPC, receipt, etc). If the rebate was specific for some other vendor, then B&H should not have posted it.
