For people who have prime is access to Amazon content really worth it? I don't think I order enough to make it worthwhile. Then again I may order a bit more if I had prime.

amazon prime video is terrible though, just like netflix streaming is terrible. it's a bunch of crappy movies or old stuff i've already seen for the most part.

Prime is AWESOME! It has replaced my going to the store for lots of items, household mostly. Dogfood, laundry detergent, specialty gourmet food items, printer ink, heck, we even bought our couches & they were delivered Prime. Worth every penny. Prime music is okay, Prime video is meh, except for the new original content.

I find myself watching TV shows much more than movies. They are a season behind but that's fine for free. It really shines if you have kids though. Currently the kids are watching through Pokemon Red & Black.

Yep, it is worth having Prime just for Christmas shopping for sure.

I actually like Prime video though. They have all the old HBO shows that I never got to see, so I get my money's worth there. The music streaming isn't half bad either.

I usually end up ordering something that takes advantage of free 2-day shipping about every month or so. I occasionally use Amazon Instant Video, though not as much as I do Netflix. Overall, I'd say it's worth it for me, but just barely. But I like it.

You can get 6% back at grocery stores with AMEX Blue Cash Preferred. It does have a $75 annual membership fee though.

My order count has increased dramatically over the years I have had prime. They really get you hooked once you buy in.

I don't use the video service much but, I do use the music streaming. I order 3 to 4 time a month so that alone makes it worth it for me.

Ever since I had Prime, I've had between 30-40 orders per year from Amazon. Very rarely these are single items, so that's about ~50 items or one item per week on average in the past ~4 years (that's delivered to our household in two days or less). I haven't really leveraged Prime for grocery type and day to day stuff (which I should), or it could be way more.

The best example is when I browse around on a lazy Friday night, found something I wanted, submitted my order (say, around 9 pm), and boom there it is delivered to me Sunday before noon.

I usually buy something once a week and use the streaming video often. Well worth the money to me.
