I find their client to suck donkey balls compared to dropbox or google drive.
If their client matched dropbox/gdrive, i'd be all over this.

What data caps? Do you mean your ISP caps you? Because if you're referring to file sizes there seems to be no limit. I did the $10 deal and just uploaded a single 29GB file successfully.

I got my first year for free last Oct/Nov as a promo for buying a TPlink router. I am hoping for this cloud storage to be added or sold at a big discount for prime members in the near future.

Amazon is big on offing a discount the first year.

I've noticed that they definitely pay attention behind the scenes to whether or not you stay enrolled at the full price. I tested this out this last year when my student Prime membership expired and they wanted me to go up to the full plan at $99. I cancelled it and decided to see if they would ever offer me a lower rate to draw me back in. It took two or three months, but they did eventually offer me Prime for $49.

Yea, Amazon really needs to do some work with the client. Its terrible. You can tell its really designed with "photos" in mind. Well, it was only $10... Guess, I'll keep on keeping with Google Drive. The Mac/PC client is amazing. iOS client is okay too.

FYI, dont forget to turn off the Auto-renewal @ $60/yr. Amazon leaves enabled after your order, but it's easy to turn off.

If you turn it off and dont renew do you lose access to all your stored data or just cant add any new data? I guess that was what my question was really more about regarding it going back up to $60 after this year.
