I got one. Refreshed exactly at 11:00 (1:00 CST). And got it. I am very happy. I think it is silly for all of you to be whining about this. I mean, there were only 1000. Seriously. Don't give me that West coast garbage, I am in IL and was done and had it in my cart by 11:01 PST.

That's half price and would sell out as fast as Amazon did
Part of a good deal is being able to get the item too.

I wanted one for the Gears release and that's about as good as it got the first week of Nov. I checked the http://360-deals.com/blogs/cheap-xbox-360/default.aspx site

I am sure deals will come and go but when i want something a locked up browser due to a overloaded system does not help me get it

I was in MC store in Richardson, TX this morning. They have the Core for $199 and premium for $299 only after $100 MIR each. There are tons of these in-stock.

Why would anyone want that POS DVD player? I voted for the toys and prime membership... that's actual value of $170 no matter how you look at it. Even if you just buy $5 in toys it's a great deal. That junk DVD player is junk at any price.

I just read a buyers comment, on amazon, that he/she wasn't too happy witht he $100 deal because it only comes with as a basic core. Also, he has to spend an additional $300 for upgrades.

When people head about this deal, they posted it everywhere. If you really wanted it, then do not talk about it.

This same thing happened at a CC near me. They opened teh day before the PS3 launched. they had a sign saying they would not have it in stock. Then, when the store closed, they took down the sign and some kid asked if they would have them, and tehy said they would. So you know what he did? Well instead of just planthing his ass in line, he went back home, posted it on some forum and came back. Low and behold, there were 10 people in line. He began complaining saying that he should be in line b/c he found out first. Eeryone just llughed and called him an idiot for just posting about it in the first place.
