I dont think you "get the deal" until you've answered the math question and then add the item to your shopping cart on the subsequent page

Left the house at 12:45 est to goto boston market to pick up the holiday meal deal thing they have going. By 1:40 still in line and the people are close to rioting because they were not prepared. Left my dad in line and drove home to try for the deal. Had 8 open windows going with IE7 and refreshed them at different points. One hit at 2:00 and it already said soldout

So back to boston market and had to wait in line some more lol

There is also such thing as stupid people who will answer stupid questions instead of helping the asker learn the answer on their own. And then there are intelligent questions. I am intolerant of the first 4 categories.

If you can't get your page reload, nothing else you can do, doesn't matter how fast you or your computer are.

Having a fast ISP didn't have nothing to do with it.

It was pure luck.

I was at work and I can't begin to tell you how fast the network is here (a major bank globally) and that darn page timed out on 2 computers and on the one it finally refreshed on, the time was at that point 2:14 PM EST.

I refreshed within the span of 2 seconds after the time hit 2.

I'm sure there were a few people on dial up of all things who managed to get one.
