I've installed many of these boards and lemme tell ya, we have a 40-50% failure
on these boards. I have a stack of them sitting waiting for RMA. I really like the boards
when they work and the price + Pc133 support is perfect. Maybe I just got a bad batch but
even then its still not worth the risk anymore.

The Biostar board mentioned earlier is a great board as well but doesn't offer the DDR upgrade path like theK7S5A or the AK32.actually, the M7VIG features both SDR and DDR slots. it is a very nice board, rock solid and good performance. I'd pick it over the AK32 unless there is a need for the 5 or 6 PCI slots.

It doesn't say whether its a tbred or not on newegg's site, I bought the retail boxed version from monarchcomputer.com and you can see the palamino has the .18 micron and the Tbred says .13 micron
funny how the OEM .18 palamino is $69 and the .13 Tbred is $65,but I like having the 3 year warranty for $20 more anyway.
how can we tell if the $52 newegg 1700 is tbred or palamino, has anyone recieved theirs yet?
