"Nardman" about what I was saying about the cpu killing the motherboard it's NOT a Theory so you don't really need to correct me on this,, if you read my first post then you should see , THE WORSE that can happen....., not that it will happen for sure,, but the WORSE that can happen, and damaging the motherboard is one of them, are you saying it's not ever posible in anyway to damage a motherboard by running a Chirpped CPU?
Well, HappyNic...I'm not sure as well to your "worse" tht will happen. From the above post...plenty of ppl run chipped core CPU in their mobo. Some had been for years. I was thinkin...maybe you are too sceptical bout this matter.
Btw, I heard over another forum tht a chipped CPU is not stable if u run specific application. Their arguement is IF the CPU need to process "certain" information using those "broken transistor"...then the PC will hang,BSOD & etc.
My question is: - Are transistors in the core hv a specific function each of them...OR very single bits of those transistor are the same (means they can equally process any information) ? Any specialist in these area ?
