LA/OC Fry's have the ECS and Athlon 2400+ combo for $79.99. Sell the motherboard and buy another and it's cheaper overall.

I have this mobo and it's a good board. I bought this as a combo from Fry's with a boxed XP2600+ (Barton) for $139.00. The receipt broke down the CPU for $88 and the board for $51. I would recommend this board as a basic NForce 2, it works for me.

get the Abit NF7-S.. it's well worth the extra $10 over your range. Overclocking an XP1800+ to 2.2Ghz right now on cheap old ram too.

I built a computer for one of my friends using that motherboard & an Atlon 2000+.
Rock solid at the normal settings & held a bit of an overclock pretty well. I don't recall the exact overclock we achieved, however.
Not having a chipset fan made it nice & quiet & the blue color went very well with his blue case & blue quad-LED case fans.
I would recommend this board without hesitation.

also if your looking for a possible p4 combo, may i suggest an abit bh7. Sure the cpu's are more but you can crank em with this board as well. Got a 2.8 running at 3.2 with a zalman and this board never gives any problems whatosever. It has done fine at 3.4 but havent tested thoroughly. YMMV.
