I'm running a wide array of fans in my case - couple exhaust - couple intake..side intake...
I've upgraded my CPU heatsink/fan to a TT Silent Boost and used an application of Arctic Silver Premium to help with heat control...
But still, my CPU temp holds steady at 71C...the only time it's ever different is on boot in the bios when it's at 15C or so...
I've used Motherboard Monitor and Speedfan -- both show the same temp.
I'm beginning to think the problem is either with my cpu temp sensor (but why does it read seemingly correct on boot in bios?) or with my mobo itself - maybe it's incompatible with the software I'm using to check the temps? - I know MBM doesn't support my mobo (Chaintech VNF 250).
What gives? My case temp holds steady at 31C...I just can't believe that my CPU with all the precautions I've taken is that over-heated...
Any advice or tips or enlightenment would be MOST appreciated!
EDIT: Forgot to mention that my computer is running perfectly...fast, smooth, sweet...so I'd expect those cpu temps to be inaccuracte as I would think I'd see some drag, hangs, and/or crashes out of this type CPU that was REALLY running at 71C for hours on end.
