I'm going to be buying a new rig (for the sole purpose of gaming) within the next 2 weeks but I'm sort of snagged on the processor. The FX-55 processor is so much faster out of stock, but the new .90nm 3500+ can do some serious damage when it is overclocked. So my questions are threefold.
Does AMD plan on releasing a .90 core FX processor really soon?
How are FX processors for overclocking? I can't find mention of this in any review... what's the deal?
If money is a factor, is the performance increase from a stock .09 3500+ to an FX-55 worth it?
Thanks for any suggestions or redirections to posts I've missed in my browsing.
