AMD all screwed up!

I've never had via chipset.. or modern chipset board for that matter
I don't undersatand how it's possible to install so-called via 4-in-1 drivers "BEFORE" the OS is installed.

You don't install them before the OS is installed, you install them immediately after it is installed. Preferably before any sound or video drivers...

wait, those netgear cards are incompatible w/ the 761!??!?!? ugh, that's a bummer... got any links regarding that???

As for USB mice.. i dunno, mine seems to kick ass.

O..k.. what am I missing here.. I got Win98 (OE), and when I install it, it doesn't ask me whether I want to install different driver for the sound/video card.. It just do that in background, you know.. saying.. somehting like.. Looking for the PnP hardware or something.. Now, how am I supposed to install via drivers when the OS setup is not even finished?

Good question. I was wondering that too.

Cmon guys it's easy,install the video driver Unless the OS istalled them for you. if the os did it allready then you can just skip this process.

then if the os installed all other drivers then all you need is to install the 4in1's &amp; you're done. Simple.

Please, blame AMD for you not looking into things? If it's drivers, then remember that the OS shouldn't be expected to have all the drivers for everything. If you have hardware problems, then you need to look into things better next time. Aside from that, all the help you need is alreayd in here.

Unless it's your SCSI. Aha! Another thing to look at. :Q
