AMD and GeForce3 overclocking...

Hi !
I'm was wondering what other people with AMD CPUs and GeForce 3s managed to reach in overclocking. So if you could post your default & overclocked CPU, motherboard, ram, CPU voltage and anything else overclocking related, I would be ever so thankful. (just trying to see my system is a freak in here).

here's mine :
AMD T-Bird 1.2 @ 1.2, 1.75V
Epox 8K7A+
Micron PC-2100
Cooled with a Vantec CCK-6035D and Arctic Silver II
Antec PP-412 400W for the power...

Here's the catch... before my GeForce 3

AMD T-Bird 1.2 @ 1.5, 1.95V
the rest is the same.

What happened??? I can't overclock anymore now that I have a GeForce 3 instead of my Radeon !!!

i wont overclock your geforce3 they run hot as it is i have the ti500 and you cant hold your finger on the backside of it i took a temp reading of the back of the chip its 161F if you over clock it your asking for trouble check the temp of the chip before you try it

what are you talking about, i'm got my gainward ti200 running at 225 gpu, 472 ram, with stock cooling, and have not run into any problem, i'm also running my xp at 163fsb.

If you run into cooling headrooms with the GF3, you can replace the heatsink/fan with a bigger better one and put on copper ramsinks.

ti200 and ti500 are 2 diff cards you cant even get the ti200 to run a default ti500 setting the ti500 puts out a lot of heat lot more then ti200 and i am not ripping off the heatsink this card has a life time warrenty

Some Ti200s can reach default Ti500 speeds, some can't. You can always put a card cooler or mod your case to cool the Ti500. That's what I'm doing. Oh, and try using a period sometime.

my Ti200 runs at 245/540 stable! no memory cooling and only standard chip cooling (Winfast/Leadtek)
system XP 1600 (1400mhz) on Epox 8kha+, 2100 ram = 8235 on 1024res 3Dmark 2001
FSB= 133 no o/c (has been 145 in past thou)
Last time I checked various review sites my score was better than all Ti500 (stock) reviews
.....I don't usually stick my finger where it can be burnt either

Which Leadtek Ti200 do you have? I have the one with only TV out from newegg. I can't seem to go beyond 220/515 without getting "snow" artifacts in Tribes 2.

Do you know what brand memory is on your card? Mine is some company I never heard of that begins with an E (I forgot heh).

i cant get past 220 core with my pny ti200. I have a question about the memory though, im at 475 right now and games run fine but black gashes blink when i run 3dMark 2001. did i reach my limit with the memory, or not, since no snow or any distortion in any games.
