I know everyone here dumps on Theinquirer.net, but they did call this one correctly.
One million monkeys...
The inq gets some things right just through the sheer number of guesses they make a day.
I doubt the INQ makes many guesses at all, likely most of their leads are from legitimate leaks inside companies of interest.
What I do suspect is that the majority of these leads and moles are just full of themselves and think they are in the right circles to be "in the know" with enough relevant info to make it worth leaking.
I've met my fair share of colleagues who beleived they knew exactly where the company was going and so on...happy to jabber their "theories" away as "truth" to anyone who will listen.
If the INQ is guilty of anything its that it seems to not discriminate enough against the likelihood of jaw-jabbering know-nothing "moles" when it's editors get giddy to publish the bull that graces the frontpage at times.
Dancing in the halls and all that...
