The orginal deal has expired. Pay attention to posts regarding Fry's each week. Combo deals are rotated in slightly different combinations all the time.

aww, that's cute
try outpost.com. if you don't find it there, you're S.O. of L. (pm me if you need to know what this means... oh, and i hope you know what PM stands for). you can also try the For Sale/Trade forums. another kind AT'er (know that one?) might be willing to help.
i think you'll really like this forum, there are so many nice people willing to help... everyone really.

Is anyone able to get 1gb DDR to work with this mobo? I have tried Infineon, OCZ and no luck, all with very relaxed timings. IT won't even post . The smae memory boots up if I put it in Dimm 1 and Dimm2 (Non Dual Channel) , IF I put in 1 & 3 or 2 & 3, or dual channel configs, it doesn't work.

In the Sunday LA Times, the combo is an XP 2600+ and NF2U400 mobo. Link for $85 (thru 6/15). The deal is getting progressively worse!
So I have a question about this whole OCing process with the Cosair ValueSelect RAM. I figured I'd get 2 x 256MB instead of 1 x 512MB so I can run it in dual channel. I'm looking on NewEgg and I see two different sticks of Corsair ValueSelect.Originally posted by: Showtime
You can change the CAS timings in the BIOS (2. 2.5 or 3).
My combo was running fine at 200 FSB (3200+) @ 400 Mhz (DDR 3200) until I lowered the loose timings..... Now no matter what I do I cant get it to boot up right. I reset CMOS and can get the system running but it goes into windows and shuts down. Temps never got hot to the touch so Im assuming the cpu is ok. 14.5k on 3dmark2001 and it came up as an ATHLON 3200+. I should of left it alone... spent hours trying to trouble shoot the damn thing last night.
To oc it originally I just used the available fsb options (100, 133, 166, 200). 133 didnt boot for me so I tried 166 and benchmarked 12.8K 3dmark. Raised it to 200 and it ran without any problems. Not much more heat than earlier. Hopefully I'll be able to get this up and running agian because it was the best $70 upgrade I'd ever made on a rig.

For those running at 200MHz FSB, did you try running Prime95? I ran it and it failed with a rounding error within 1.5 hours or so. I then switched to 166MHz FSB and it ran for over 12 hours with no errors.
I am running 1 PC3200 512MB DIMM. I believe the memory speed was 200MHz in both runs.
Thanks.

While I like Prime 95 to run forever without errors, getting 1.5 hours is still pretty good. You have to remember Prime95 is pedal to the metal processing. Most people won't do this kind of processing for hours on end.
Where you know you have issues is if Prime 95 crashes within seconds, or within 15 minutes.
